About the Artist

James creates ocean creatures and sea-themed sculptures that depict the magnificence of the ocean’s diverse plants and animals. His eco-awareness message leaps out of the forged aluminum and sculpted glass pieces with the message that fish and other sea life are vanishing at unprecedented rates. Creating a dialogue about climate change, overfishing and their devastating effects on the oceans of the world is the heart of James’ work.

Learn to Blow Glass

Have you ever wanted to learn to blow glass? James also teaches glassblowing to all ages – children to adults. He’s taught his Introduction to Glassblowing workshop to local and regional groups. From Girl Scouts to large private and corporate events, classes are created with the intent to encourage teamwork and leadership.
