Join us for a talk on the conservation efforts to bring back the Mexican Grey Wolf.
Returning the critically endangered Mexican Grey wolf, “El Lobo” to the Southwest U.S and Mexico through breeding, education, and conservation. We will discuss the importance of wolves in the wild lands they once occupied. The California Wolf Center plays a vital role in this recovery by working closely with the stakeholders of these lands. Wolves are slowly returning to California and you can help make a difference to help these species.
Lisa Urbanek has been a volunteer educator and animal care helper at the wolf center for over five years and a member for 12 years. Located in Julian, CA, the California Wolf Center is dedicated to the return of wild wolves to their natural habitat and to the people who share the landscape with them.
