Veterans Day Ceremony

Escondido’s 15th Annual Veterans Day Ceremony, hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1513, will begin at 11:00 am Thursday November 11, 2021 in front of the Wall of Courage at Grape Day Park 321 North Broadway. Escondido, CA 92025.
Speakers include Assemblymember Marie Waldron, Mayor Paul McNamara, and several local veterans who will regale you with short stories.
Music will be provided by the Camp Carleton Cornet Band, a Civil War reenactment ensemble. The Emmanuel Faith Community Church’s Silent Witness and Joyful Hands will perform patriotic songs.
The Wall of Courage is a living memorial to Escondido’s veterans, created by Gale & Bob Pruitt with the support of the City of Escondido and its citizens.
