The Journey: Photo Exhibit at THE PHOTOGRAPHER’S EYE GALLERY

Exhibit runs from April 13 through May 18, 2019

Our photographers each explore their own interpretation of ‘The Journey’. A great variety of image-making styles and subject matter will grace our walls for this exhibition. Some examples are: Skateboard photographer Grant Brittain presents his portraits of Tony Hawk from over the years, beginning with 1983; Keiko Yamasaki will show landscape images from her hike of Japan’s World Heritage Pilgrimage Trail; and Stephen Davis will exhibit his recent photographs of roadside memorials. Over twenty-five black and white and color works by our Collective members will be on display.

The Photographer’s Eye Collective is a group of passionate photographers who are dedicated to the idea that photography is a language we all share and that it can make a difference in our own lives and in the lives of others.

OUR REGULAR GALLERY HOURS ARE THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, 11am-5pm.
GALLERY VISITS ARE AVAILABLE FOR INDIVIDUALS OR CLASSES BY APPOINTMENT

There is no charge to visit and parking is free in front of and behind the gallery space.

This event is part of Escondido’s 2nd Saturday Arts & Culture Experiences

This uniquely creative day, comprised of many different events, includes the wondrously eclectic art galleries of Escondido’s historic downtown and as well as interactive arts, theatre, museums and historical and educational experiences all around the area… all throughout the day… for all ages. Bring the kids, enjoy a date night, or a friends afternoon out… there’s something for everyone!
