Escondido Arts Partnership announces a premier exhibition of recent paintings by Duke Windsor. The exhibition opens to the public with a reception for the artist on Saturday, July 7, from 5:30 – 9 pm.
On view will be a number of contemporary cityscapes. Each work on display was created in acrylic and applied gold leaf. There will also be a selection of watercolors available for purchase.
Duke Windsor is a recognized fine artist, exhibit designer, and art teacher from San Diego. He has taught art to both adults and children at various venues including the San Diego Museum of Art, Bravo School of Art, San Diego Art Department, and numerous workshops throughout San Diego County.
Windsor has over 15 years of exhibit design experience including eight years as founding Director of Exhibits at the USS Midway Museum. He currently serves as CAD Engineering Manager for Full Swing Golf Simulators, headquartered in Carlsbad. Windsor’s paintings have been exhibited and received awards at juried solo and group exhibitions and corporate venues in San Diego and Southern California, and they are held in private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. Windsor’s studio is located in Mt. Helix.
