Free Easter Concert: Rob Gardner’s “Lamb of God”

San Diego Saints Choir, together with guest soloists and instrumentalists, present “Lamb of God,” a sacred work composed by Rob Gardner, in a free concert on March 26, 2023.
Embrace the hope of Easter through this profoundly moving and sacred work that tells the story of the final days of Jesus Christ’s mortal ministry through the eyes of those who loved Him and knew Him best.
The oratorio has been compared to Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem, with its inspiring musical themes, powerful motifs, rich orchestration, and unique storytelling that is especially poignant during the Easter season.
Local and nationally acclaimed soloists including award-winning tenor George Dyer as Peter, local cello phenom Peter Ko as Jesus (cello), Candese M. Alexander as Mary Magdalene, Zane Camacho-Riddle as Thomas, Mackenna Rowley as Mary the Mother, Evan White as Pilate, Mei Kohler as Martha, and Taylor Holsinger as John.
