Exhibit runs: August 10 – August 25, 2018

Distinction Gallery is proud to present our 8th Annual Immortalized: Flamin’ Bettys art exhibit. The exhibition will include oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media paintings as well as photography. Online bidding is now open. Artworks will be available via auction starting at $100 to benefit our annual Palomar College Scholarship fund in honor of Charles “Chuck” Leslie Walker.

Featured artists include both emerging and seasoned artists from around California and Florida, including Victor Roman, Scott Rohlfs, Mike Bell, Brianna Angelakis, Shan Fannin, Steve Waldron, Andy Meeh, Elena Karavodin, Evgeniya Golik, shdwsofdust, Elvin Armando, and Jennifer Anichowski.

From Gallery Director Melissa Inez Walker: “Immortalized is one of our most well attended shows of the year. Crusin’ Grand organizes to have our block closed to traffic and we line it with some of the most impressive custom and original hot rods in all of Southern California. The pinup contest ads to the fun and the best part is that the funds raised benefit both Palomar College Scholarships and Cruisin’ Grand.”

This exhibition would not be possible without our partners Steve Waldron, Hot Rods and Custom Stuff, Shannon Itzaina, King’s Pawn, Ford of Escondido, Mercedes-Benz of Escondido, BK Cellars, Stone Brewing, JD Built, EscoGelato, Vinz Wine Bar, and Brandy Sebastian.

About Distinction Gallery / Art Hatch:
Distinction Gallery was created in 2004 to give beginning and established collectors a venue to purchase high-quality, cutting edge artwork. Distinction has hosted over 120 exhibitions since its inception featuring emerging, mid-career and veteran professional artists. Distinction’s artwork is available for purchase online to clients around the world, and most of our artists are available for commissions. In order to further expand offerings to the community, Distinction converted part of their location to ArtHatch, a non profit organization.
