4th Saturday Workshop "Encaustic/ Hot Wax Painting" with Josie Rodriguez

Explore the amazing world of ENCAUSTIC painting with heated wax. Rediscover a lost art that has captivated painters for over 2000 years. The transparent and luminous effects of these paintings are often what capture the attention of artists. You will learn step-by-step preparation of the wax, adding color and applying layers to create either more opaque or more translucent effects.
Rodriguez believes that art is universal in its ability to heal the spirit. She is a visual artist and instructor whose work is found throughout the United States.
