Come join us at The Back to School Talent Bash!! A night celebrating the talent of our local youth! Acts will compete to be crowned the winner of our second annual Talent Show! Come join the fun and cheer for your favorite. Bring the whole family. Infants 2 years of age and younger are free. We are also accepting registration for the competition via the Patio Playhouse website.

WHAT: Kit Carson 5K race, Marathon relay, Half-Marathon relay, Solo Half-Marathon run (New!), and 10 X 1 Mile relay (New!)

WHERE: Kit Carson Park (El Arroyo Picnic area) – 3333 Bear Valley Pkwy, Escondido CA 92025

WHEN: Sunday November 19th 2023 @ ~9:00am (All Relays/Solo Half) / 8:00am (5K)

EVENT CHECK IN: Sat. Nov. 18th – Location TBD
EVENT DAY CHECK IN: Nov. 19th (6:45am – 7:45am (5K) until 8:30am (all relays/SOLO Half-Marathon)

Features:

NEW! A less intimating but fast 10 X 1 mile relay is now offered (team of 3 and minimum of 2)!
NEW! A SOLO half-marathon division is now offered (finisher medal only and you must complete 5 laps)

The most fun event you will ever do! And Relay teams love our Jeopardy-like “Relay Trivia” at the baton exchange!
Multiple Marathon team divisions to compete in: Open, Club, School, Corporate, Recreational, and Masters
Marathon and Half-Marathon Team of 5 Relay (5 teammates – less than 5 allowed. Minimum of 3. See Q&A for details)
Marathon and Half-Marathon Team of 2 Relay (2 Teammates only)
Each lap is a scenic 2.62 mile trail (40%) pavement (60%) style course, mostly flat with gentle short rolling hills
5K Run (adult and youth age-groups)
Chip-timed live online results, live onsite screen for laps and times for all relay teams and 5k participants
Awards for events, Tech-T shirts, finisher medals and finisher certificate
