Alexander as Mary Magdalene, Zane Camacho-Riddle as Thomas, Mackenna Rowley as Mary the Mother, Evan White as Pilate, Mei Kohler as Martha, and Taylor Holsinger as John.

Join us on our Facebook page and upstairs in the Turrentine Room for a live performance from Arielle Silver!
About Arielle Silver:
Arielle Silver was raised on folk festival fields and synagogue pews, in woodsy and watery places up and down the Atlantic Seaboard. Now based in Southern California, she lives just a traffic jam away from the Pacific Ocean. After a decade break from performing music to focus on creative writing and Eastern philosophy, her fourth album, A THOUSAND TINY TORCHES (2020), is luminous, literate, and alive, with songs that crosscut exacting details of the seismic heartbreaks of ordinary life.
This event is presented by Friends of the Escondido Public Library.

The Escondido Street Festival will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
This 30-year-old, annual spring street festival is located on Grand Avenue between Escondido Blvd and Juniper Street and brings thousands of people to beautiful historic downtown. In May of 2022, under new ownership by the Escondido Downtown Business Association and with the help of a music grant, improvements were made to add professional live music, stage and sound, and beer and wine gardens. These changes brought a 75% increase in vendors. According to city calculations, last year’s festival brought over 60,000 people. In fact, the Escondido Street Festival was the biggest event in the City of Escondido in the last 5 years! This year’s festival will, once again, include a traditional street fair format along with free Professional Live Music, a Beer & Wine Garden, and Art in the Garden. Mark your calendar for a day full of great shopping, food, art, and entertainment.
Managed by the Escondido Downtown Business Association.
See the website link for more information including Vendor Applications, Sponsorship Opportunities, and Art in the Garden entries.
The Escondido Street Festival is presented by the Escondido Downtown Business Association, a 501(c)6 Non-Profit, for the marketing, support, and preservation of the 127-year-old Historic Downtown Business District.
