Mariachi Sol de Mexico: A Merri-Achi Christmas is a platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated mariachi ensemble presenting a colorful celebration of Mexico’s Christmas traditions, embracing the romanticism of Mexico’s land, culture and people.  This show includes seasonal song and dance along with select Mariachi classics.

The Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland Festival is an annual community event where we bring the North Pole to the heart of Escondido. Children will have the chance to frolic in real snow, decorate their very own Christmas cookies, and create fun, hand-made gifts for their loved ones.

Celebrate the holiday season with your favorite Christmas melodies sung by The Center Chorale and Center Children’s Chorus! Join us for this concert of your favorite tunes including Angles on a Midnight Clear, Sleigh Bells, Santa Baby and selections from Handel’s Messiah.

Formed by pianist Thomas Lauderdale in 1994, Pink Martini is an American band with international flair and a penchant for the nostalgic.  Known as the “little orchestra,” Pink Martini’s globally-inspired repertoire is wildly diverse, crossing genres of classical, Latin, jazz and old-fashioned pop.

A Country Music Hall of Famer, Grammy-award winner and most recently a Kennedy Center Honoree, Merle Haggard is a country music icon and living legend. Haggard and his songs retain the grit, heart and honesty that first won him fans, and the standing as “the poet of the common man.”

Christmas with Lúnasa, featuring special guest Karan Casey, is a Celtic celebration not to be missed! Lúnasa is widely acknowledged as being the finest traditional Irish instrumental bands of recent times, renowned for stunning shows honed by superb musicianship. Lúnasa’s inventive arrangements and bass driven grooves have steered Irish acoustic music into surprising new territory.

The West Coast Ballet Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker promises to instill a love of the arts in young and old alike. The family-oriented performance, which features a cast of over 200 performers with internationally acclaimed guest artists.

The Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Show will get you into the holiday spirit with gospel tinged versions of seasonal favorites along with gospel classics in a joyous evening of soul stirring music. This special concert will feature songs from their new album, “Talkin’ Christmas!,” as well as the band’s previous Grammy-winning Christmas recording, “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”
