When: Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

Where: Grape Day Park, Escondido: 300 Block of North Broadway – On the lawn in front of the Military Tribute Wall of Courage Monument, between the Escondido History Center and the California Center for the Arts.

Program: This Veterans Day celebration will include a full patriotic program with music, dance, honored guests, speakers, and dedication of new name tiles added to the Wall of Courage. This event is approximately 1 ½ hours long.  There is limited seating.

Escondido Military Tribute Committee’s Purpose: To publicly recognize the contributions of our Military, and to “pay tribute” to all who have served our country. The Military Tribute and Wall of Courage Monument honors our local Veterans, especially.

Escondido Allied Veterans Council was founded in 1939 to unite local veterans groups.  It is comprised of members from each of our Escondido-based Veterans organizations: American Legion Post 149, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1513, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 70, and their respective Auxiliaries.
