Over 500 vendors, live entertainment, and food from around the world have combined to make the Escondido Downtown Street Faire a family tradition since 1989. The faire kicks off at 9:30 a.m. and will jump and jive all day until 5:30 p.m. Come and join us on historic Grand Avenue in downtown Escondido.

The Escondido Downtown Street Faire, held the 3rd Sunday of May and October, is the second largest single-day fair in California. Five hundred unique vendor booths line seven blocks of beautiful downtown Escondido along Grand Avenue. With crowds exceeding 60,000 and a wide variety of food and family entertainment, the faire is expected to provide all our vendors with a successful and enjoyable day, as it has since 1988.

Coming out to the Escondido Street Faire make sure you stop by out Center Stage. Here is a partial list of musical entertainment lined up for the Street Faire.

10:00 – 10:30 EAST WEST MMA
East West MMA specializes in martial arts training for the entire family, they’re focus is on building champions both physically and mentally in life! They are located here in Escondido off of W. Valley Parkway and Auto Parkway.


10:30am – 11:20pm YMCA TWIRLERS
The YMCA twirlers have been a program at the Palomar Family YMCA for over 40 years. The girls range in age from 5-18. They perform at many local community parades, street fairs, local and state competitions, plus the San Diego County Fair, Poway Performing Arts Center, and the SD Padres.

Center Stage Production is a non-profit youth organization that puts on 3 musical productions a year at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. In addition to the productions, we also provide classes in dance, voice, acting, music for ages 2 – adults.

12:00 – 12:30pm SAXATIONS
The Saxations are a San Diego based all-girl saxophone quartet performing popular music, jazz, smooth jazz, funk, soul and blues. These four women bring to the stage a powerful and high energy show that is delightfully entertaining.

12:40-1:45pm EVERLONG
Tribute to Foo Fighters , from Southern California This tribute raises the bar on looks and for recreating the performance of Foo Fighters classics such as: Everlong, Monkey Wrench, Big Me, Best of you, Learn to fly, Times like these, My hero, and Walk and MANY MORE!!

2:00 – 2:50pm – JANELLE CRICKET
Janelle Phillips is a laidback girl with goals of aspiring to be a leader of peace and ambitions. Her music brings the good vibes to your soul as she describes what it is like being a Cali girl. She’s influenced by the reggae tunes that flow throughout the world. Janelle Phillips facebook

3:00 – 3:50pm – GIANT PEACH
Giant Peach is a San Diego jam band, proudly playing a selection of tasty tunes by such classic rock bands as the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, the Allman Brothers, the Stones, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Santana, as well as an occasional sprinklin’ of some of our own home-cooked originals.

4:00 – 4:50pm – ANTONIA DUGGAN

5:00 – 6:00pm: OPEN FOR BUSINESS
They have been playing together for 3 years and yes Brady and Jessica are brother and sister! They are passionate about their music/performing and are also advocates for No Bullying in schools.
