The Escondido Street Faire is held during the months of May and October on Grand Avenue between Centre City and Ivy. The Street Faire is sponsored by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association.

11 – 11:45am  Off BROADWAY DANCERS Michaelann Johnson  dancemikeyj@msn.com Our diverse group of dancers range in age from 3 to 16 years We are a nonprofit Dance studio that is very affordable and gives children the opportunity to take dance classes.

11:50 – 12:20pm  CHURCH’S ANGELS Gloria Zeitung  Gzeitung@yahoo.com Channah Zeitung   Martial arts child prodigies and California’s state champion.  Started competing at 3 yrs of age against boys and girls twice her age. Featured on ABC network Katie Couric Show, Channah is one of 5 of the nations wonder kids, Rayna Vallendingham, age 10 world champion at age 8 holds the record, Kathryn Baron world champion and Channah’s mentor, and Olivia Polumbo age 9 California’s state champion .

We offer practical self defense courses for all ages and skill levels in a fun and exciting family atmosphere! As part of our community outreach program, anyone who inquires today will receive our introductory package, including 2 private classes and fitness evaluation absolutely free!

2 – 2:15pm  FLIP TO CHEER Tammy Atyim fliptocheer@yahoo.com The Pommettes Cheerleaders are a group of young ladies from Escondido from ages 4 to 11.  The group holds classes through the city of Escondido parks and Recreation Dept.  The girls learn cheers, pom dances as well as tumbling skills in our popular “Cheer-nastics” class.  The girls enjoy performing at many community events.  The group also has preschool classes as well as tumbling classes.  The class is run by Miss Tammy Atyim.

4:00 – 5:15pm POPPI GRANDE AND THE SHAKEDOWN DADDIES Ray Mead ray_mead@cox.net Poppi Grande and The Shakedown Daddies play high-energy, original music mixed with a unique spin on our favorite covers. This electric four piece rock band will stir you emotionally and move you physically. Bet you can’t sit still!
