The annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled to take place at Bates Nut Farm on Saturday March 23, 2013 from 10:00 – 12:00.

Children of all ages and their families are invited.  There will be divisions for different age groups so each child will have a fair chance to look for eggs with candy or a toy inside.  In conjunction with the Easter Egg Hunt, there will be other children’s activities taking place.  Kids will enjoy crafts, pony rides and the farm zoo.

Open year round, Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center is best known for their pumpkin patch and fall activities, but any time of the year is the perfect time to visit.  The farm sits on 100 acres, and is surrounded by oak and mulberry trees.  Visitors come from all over the world to enjoy the tranquil setting, have a picnic under the trees, feed animals at the farm zoo, and shop for nuts, candy and gifts at the two retail stores.

Bates Nut Farm is located 20 minutes east of I-15 through Escondido at 15954 Woods Valley Rd., Valley Center, CA 92082.  Farm and Store hours are 9:00 – 5:00 daily. Entrance to the farm and parking are free.
